# Chapter Launch Playbook

A Chapter Launch is a strategic deployment of the Co-Op Business Club infrastructure into a new geographic market. We do not launch on "hope"; we launch on math.

---

## 1. The Seed Phase: Audience First

The #1 requirement for an Ambassador to move toward a launch is Audience Readiness.

* The Math of Launch: An Ambassador must have a documented audience or network large enough that the conversion math guarantees a viable start.

* The Velocity Check: We do not launch until we can mathematically forecast a path to the 5X ROI milestone.

* Pre-Launch Pulse: The Pulse may begin broadcasting local content (Member stories, community highlights) before the official launch to "prime" the local market's attention.

---

## 2. The Launch Event: The "Meet Your Community" Moment

We avoid high-pressure sales presentations. The launch event is designed to reflect our "Connection over Quotas" value.

* The Format: A simple, high-quality Happy Hour.

* The Goal: A "Meet Your Community" moment. The focus is on introducing local business owners to one another and showing them the infrastructure that will support their collective growth.

* The "Pitch": The "Power Offer" of the Co-Op is presented naturally: "We have the systems you need to scale; here is how we win together."

---

## 3. Marvin’s Role: The Invisible Recruiter

Marvin AI supports the launch by managing the logistical "friction" of the first wave of members.

* Lead Identification: Marvin assists the Ambassador by analyzing the local market for businesses that pass the "Reputation Audit" and "AI Background Check."

* Engagement: Marvin can handle the initial RSVPs and follow-ups for the launch event, ensuring that the Ambassador stays focused on being the "Charismatic Person" in the room.

* Onboarding Readiness: As soon as the first "Founding Member" signs at the launch event, Marvin is ready to begin the P.A.S.S. interview immediately.

---

## 4. The ROI Milestone: "Mission Accomplished"

A chapter is not considered "Successfully Launched" just because an event happened. Success is defined by financial velocity.

* The 5X ROI Rule: The launch phase is complete when the Ambassador reaches 5X ROI velocity.

* Sustainability: Once this velocity is reached, the chapter has enough "circulation" (leads, revenue, and engagement) to sustain itself and begin organic growth.

* Post-Launch: After hitting this milestone, the chapter moves from "Launch Phase" to "Maintenance & Growth Phase" as documented in [Chapter Management](https://wiki.coopbusinessclub.com/post/chapter-management).
